Welcome to the new CNMI.net website. This site features a calendar system which contains dates of events and holidays that occur throughout the year in the CNMI. We have received many requests for such a system and have listened. We hope that the calendar will serve as an invaluable tool for visitors to plan their next trip to the islands.

The events that you see in the calendar are courtesy of the Marianas Visitor's Authority. Each event has a description and links directly to MVA's website where visitors can find more information on a particular event.

A brief tutorial in using the calendar below, point your mouse on a particular date. Dates with events are highlighted in light red. An information box will appear explaining the event. The events are also shown below the calendar for your convenience.

Wed - Jul 01 Annual PTI Aqua Walk (TBA) The event is held behind the Aquarius Beach Tower, n the lagoon and the coastline of the beach. Experience the health giving therapeutic effect of the ocean waters as you walk in the lagoon. The event is held in the morning in line with daily tide predictions. Sat - Jul 18 Trench Warz X- “Collision” Event brought to you by Trench Tech, Inc. The event will feature fighters from Guam and Saipan. The event will take place at the Saipan World Resort hotel. The Trench Tech has been promoting MMA fights on Saipan since 2005. Sat - Aug 01 8th Annual Foundation & Family Day Walk (TBA) The event is held to commemorate the founding of the association and to promote family and public health and better quality of life through walking. A 5 km and a 10km routes are available. The exact time and location of the event will be announced at a later date. Please contact the association for further details at mkesp@pdisaipan.com
Sat - Aug 01 13th Annual Tournament of Champions (TBA) A two-day, joint government/business sector golf tournament to raise funds for beautification projects. Early bird entry is $200.00 on or before TBA, $225.00 after July 28, 2006. Award division (flights): Men’s Championship (A, B, C), Ladies, Senior’s (50-59 yrs.), Super seniors (60 yrs. +). Participants are urged to bring their own clubs for the event. All entry forms must have payment attached and received by TBA. Sat - Aug 01--Sun - Aug 02 25th Annual Saipan International Fishing Tournament Held annually during the marlin season, the Tournament provides anglers with an opportunity to put their skills to the test in the midst of the beautiful and majestic Pacific Ocean. The pre-registration is set for July 31, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Smiling Cove Marina (weigh station). For more information about the Tournament, please contact Edward D. Sat - Aug 01 Club Elan at the Hyatt Beach Volleyball Tournament (TBA) NMIVA is the CNMI’s umbrella volleyball association covering all aspects of indoor and outdoor games and players. NMIVA is a bonafide current member of the FIVB and NMASA. All of our fundraisers put money into the development of volleyball in the CNMI.
